Some lady almost did a left turn into me on Dexter Ave at Valley St. No stop signs for either of us. She was looking right at me and she didn't even stop. She only didn't T-bone my left side because I swerved as she entered my path of travel.
The only traffic control device for either of us was a yellow flasher, as she was oncoming traffic prior to turning.

While #motorcycle riding isn't as safe as driving, at least I can get going fast enough to avoid a lot of the situations a bicycle cannot. Plus, a motorcycle has much more road presence than a bicycle. (Original)
Had a lovely ride out along the Olympic Peninsula a few weeks back. Plenty of fast-paced rural highway riding, including keeping up with a guy on a big scooter going 90! #motorcycle

After selling my Suzuki Burgman 400, I put a deposit on a 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX. Since it was all the way in Lacey, my partner drove us down I-5 there and we spent the light so we could pick it up in the morning. She followed me back up the Kitsap Peninsula to Bremerton, a route I chose to avoid traffic around Tacoma and Kent/Auburn, which ended up taking far longer than either of us expected. I missed the turn for SR-3 in Shelton, so we ended up crossing over to the west side of the peninsula before heading towards Bremerton, and the ferry had a nearly two hour wait! #motorcycle
