@LightTheUnicorn my dad never does the grocery shopping, so the only time he gets stuff like that is if there's some dire need to do so (like when my mom had surgery), so every time he does he absolutely loses his mind over food prices, because the last time he looked was years prior. He's basically only ever buying a soda or a snack at a gas station.
