I think there's a multi-dimensional spectrum of how much of which sort of EMP a device can withstand, like anything with wires that could be overloaded from induced current or other effects would be toast, depending on the scale of attack vs over-engineeredness of the copper thickness, shielding, etc https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_pulse#Lightning

I would bet anything with points-type ignition would be most safe. Dual purpose thumper from the 70's might be a good choice.
