This video's big point: suburbia was intentionally created to divide us and deprive us of community for three big reasons:
- Without community, radical social movements rarely gain traction.
- The class of people who choose this lifestyle become loyalists to the capitalists running things.
- The void left by the lack of community can be "filled" with lucrative consumerism, and it's endless because it never truly fills the void.
The capitalists played the American people and we fell for it. >:(
