@dieter_wilhelm Any tips for when the sky is overexposed in the original RAW? There isn't any color info that can be extracted from it in this case. The way the light bleeds out onto the hill in the distance is a bit hard to manage, too.

@Neil E. Hodges well "welcome to the club". Thats some harsh light (and really white) so any tools in software are nice but useless. And not so much to recover from the sky... I know that too. What one can do. use a graduated gray filter when shot. Ahem. In theory. Better is to get in the composition so less as possible of that sky. (portrait mode shot of a city street -> live with the sky...) Or something "come back when the light is pleasing".

Usually when travelling... shot where and when you are there. Less sky in the pic seems a good advice.

Thanks. I'll see about a graduated grey filter, but it sounds like cropping is all I can really do for this one.

@dieter_wilhelm I think I'm going to leave it at this. Not perfect, but still better than the original.

Well that needs a holder, and some. Have the whole set not really everytime with me. Only when planned to used..
