I don't have any problems with automatic transmissions in general, but putting them in sports cars feels like missing the point. :/

up until about 15 years ago, absolutely yes. Now alas they're faster than us. I refuse to give in, though.

Speed, efficiency, etc. don't really matter to me. I want the engagement. :)
