I heard about it on the news. The traffic was so snarled people were playing Frisbee while they waited.

I talked to a couple motorcycle riders who pulled into the hotel where I ended up staying later in the evening. They said they waited for four hours!

FWIW, I drove a couple of hours from Tacoma southeast to White Pass on Friday (and back yesterday) along HWY 410 to US 123 to Route 12, and there was a lot of traffic during the day on those (mostly) two lane highways where people drive crazy. I can see how this happens, unfortunately.
