The only way these fascists will get the amount of control over us they crave is by eliminating the Internet itself. Free expression will continue as long as the Internet exists.

Even if they attach "papers please" to corporate websites and services, we can just make our own using free and open source software. >:3

Don't give them ideas. They don't have to eliminate the internet, just regulate the ISPs that provide access to it

Easy enough to establish alternate telecommunications. ;3 #LoRa #HamWan

remembering vaguely the activities of Consume and other similar community wifi decentralised-pringles-cantenna projects in the decade 200x, I would certainly concede it's possible but I would not go so far as to say "easy" :-)

which too is at risk because #SpectrumLicensing, #TelcoRegulations and OFC cost are a thing.

  • It is possible to cover 99,999% of the global population (by area) with satellites in GSO but we all can agree that anything more complex than #Toosheh¹ is just not in the cards, much less any transmitters…²
    • Even that is already a dangerous aka. criminalozed endeavour…

I fully disagree. It's tbe other way arround : Current internet must be destroyed, but to replace it with a good alternative one, anti-fascist, anti-imperialist, universalist, internationalist, under the full collective ownership and control of all the citizens. @kkarhan

Full CIA bullshit, technical non-sense, lack of depth in your analysis, not taking into account internet as a cyberspace's own specific characteristics. This will never work. Simply because you don't even mention end-users verifiable free integrated circuits. And because the main issues are not identified : The client/server concept, non free integrated circuits, excessive complexity. All these things confiscate many powers to end users.
