I’m afraid to say I can remember having to solder DB25 plugs onto various lengths of cable so I could have a single IBM PC linked to a bunch of Wyse 120 terminals via a 16 port serial port hub. It was great when that customer got PC’s and BNC instead. Crimping BNC plugs was a lot easier than soldering DB25:-)

This was at a time when some other customers used Macs and AppleTalk.

Guess which customers I preferred.
