My sister has become station wagon-pilled

Neil E. Hodges reshared this.

i've actually seen a couple modern station wagons with modern car design styling and they look really strange

would still prefer it to an suv honestly

radicalized by fevered dreams of a 1986 Mercury Colony Park Grand Marquis with faux wood grain all along the sides.

@meetar @smellsofbikes I think a 1980s Dodge caravan with fake wood paneling is still pretty cool even if it's not a wagon

hnnng wood grain AND those skylights.
My granddad had a 1970 vista cruiser in cobalt blue and it was amazing, but this beats it hollow.

Oops I missed the previous series of classic wagon posts. Noted. How about this then? A '99 Outback. It's not quite as #WeirdCarMastodon as the Saab but it'll be easier to find parts and arguably more reliable, while still quirky enough to stand out among the pickup trucks as these age and less of them can be seen on the roads.

@DenOfEarth nearly my dream car. That was the last soob I had with decent reliability.

@tk @DenOfEarth When I look at that car, I definitely think of being in the rugged desert of Australia
