Why is the throttle spring on my Ninja so stiff? My hand hurts from holding it all day. #motorcycle

If you're spending a lot of time at the same speed, a throttle lock makes a big difference for comfort.

A throttle lock might still be helpful.

It should be strong enough to resist the throttle spring, so that you can lock the throttle open and have it stay in-place. Yet, it should be light enough that you can still adjust the throttle without disengaging the throttle lock. This way your hand doesn't have to resist the throttle spring all day.

Otherwise maybe there's a way to lighten the spring?

Throttle lock, FTW. At least for open roads -- not necessarily wise to use one on busy streets!
