interesting story. However, I wish they would have addressed the issue of the rolled back safety regulations, esp for the non-experts. I know enough that Obama initiated a new safety requirement for this type of situation (trains w dangerous cargo) and trump rolled it back.

Was the rescinded regulation relevant to the current understanding of the bearing failure and subsequent train failure?
