Haha - I didn’t even know there was a difference :-) TIL, I guess. I guess I’ve been attracted to the adv side of the spectrum. What do you dig about the duals?

Yeah - I come from a history of street bikes and cruisers, so I think I’m like the tour-ability plus the better terrain handling.

I never understand the idea personally, frankly any bike with a good enough seat can be for touring and when it comes to adventures a Himalayan basically goes anywhere.

agreed, I've no idea why you would want to buy a bike that has been designed for off-road use, therefore compromised for the road, and then use it primarily on the road 🤷🏽‍♂️

I've test ridden a couple of enduro style bikes, really don't know what the fuss is all about.

I think it's the same mindset that results in the popularity of rugged SUV and pickup truck designs.
