Finally got the T130-0 toroid transformer put together and things are looking better for the 6m band. The SWR remains under 3 with a ~50Ω resistor load. 👍

Made a 50Ω (really 47Ω±5%) test load out of a through hole resistor as part of today's project. :3c

Fun fact: the -0 formulation is just phenolic resin (basically plastic). :P

Going to spend some time reading The Antenna Book's chapter on baluns before building anymore. I'm tired of flying blind! :P

Pretty sure this equation is correct because it gets values very close to everything I've tried on toroids.info .
