Back in the 2000s I feel like you couldn't take three steps before tripping over one. From the heyday of GNU waxing nostalgic about Lisp machines, to the rise of Reddit with Paul Graham jokes and ARC.
I love joking with my sister who writes this style of code (input over Telnet without readline or curses, thus one line per function definition) asking if I should plug her modem back in. 😜
There are only fragments I've caught on to by looking over her shoulder. pemit, for example, is essentially socket.write with some replacements handled for you. There are a few namespaces/scopes, as well, such as unprefixed language built-ins (hasflag, sort, …), extended control flow and game-provided functions e.g. @switch and @pemit, and explicitly identified object-owned attributes by way of # ID references, e.g. #222/master lst.
IMO mostly folks just quietly go about their business in one of the Common Lisps or Clojure, with some new scripting energy around Babashka-flavored Clojure or Janet. But not terribly talkative about it in any case. :p
there is some content out there. But if one makes the search terms too specific it wont find anything and return unrelated videos. For #gamedev content Baggers had a series called pushing pixels https://youtube.com/@CBaggers?si=omRfTunV4cdI8oLN

But besides that, yeah. Apparently Orbitz was built with LISP back in the day but I have no clue if they still use it.
Gorgeous na Shock!
