I was so shocked by this bit of history that I had not previously known, and knowing Hegseth has called for a meeting with 800 military leaders, that I wrote an ALT for you so that I could boost it because I didnt see your ALT while I read over it.
I'm still shaking inside. They've been using Hitler as a process manual. What the F do we do if those military leaders do not just walk out (presuming there is is-and I do- a parallel purpose for this meeting)?

Journalists, start calling the military NOW for their what if responses.
No wonder Hegseth is trying to remove 1st amendment rights from Pentagon journalists. Ye, so, getting ahead of myself, but they had no such heads up in 1935, so they had better belts and braces for this upcoming meeting.
