The 1000SX is a great bike, and still on my (extremely long) list of potential bikes to buy in the future. 😁
Compared to the Ninja 650, I like that the 1000SX has matching hard panniers and cruise control. It's a shame that the Ninja 650 missed out on those because I probably don't need the extra power of a 1000 cc bike.
