My wife keeps trying to pressure me into getting delivered meal kits because she's constantly advertised them in videos. I'm not having it because of all of the excessive packaging for the smaller portions and energy wasted in transporting and refrigerating them. Also, they're probably only marginally cheaper because of VC funding.

And you can make the same recipes with ingredients from the grocery store!

Had "HelloFresh" in Germany for several months. Expensive, and when we terminated the delivery, ingredients needed (and NOT in our kitchen) were not in the packet. Three times occured, and "bye-bye".
Positive is "all needed for one meal" is already "ready to use" but some meals are not our taste really.
And yes, advertise is on high gear. Well, not. (Decision from my wife.)
