So I installed my CA cert, and the CA cert shows up in the certificate chain when I run openssl s_client HOST:PORT, but it still spits out Verification error: self-signed certificate in certificate chain. Now what? :/ #Linux #SSL #TLS

concatenate your cert with the others in the chain, into one big file.

that's what i do when, for whatever reason, the application does not do stuff quite quite right.

Turns out Anope doesn't enable TLS support by default. It's all working now. :/
