i wish my parents would have taught me to take the bus when i was a kid. it's very cool you're doing that

My parents did it in a roundabout way: I wanted to get away from them and hated being trapped in cars my entire childhood, so the bus it was. :P

@tk Buses, other than the schoolbus, weren't even really on my radar as a kid. There was some bus service, but I didn't know how it worked, when to get on, or where it went, so I just never even considered it.

@MLE_online @tk when i was a kid it was embarassing to ride the bus and other kids used it as an insult to say someone was poor or stupid or whatever. Probably had a long tail in my town

@tk We lived pretty far out into a bedroom community, so I am guessing hardly anyone even rode the bus. I remember seeing the RTD signs at bus stops, but I don't remember the buses at all
