Time for all of us to start prepping for hard times.

Because of the tariffs, I've already upped my stash of canned goods, coffee and non-perishables and ordered extra TP while it's still affordable... but here are more suggestions.

I was caught flat-footed when we had multi-day power outages from bad weather a couple of times recently, so that's another reason.

I'm stocked up with nuts, nutritious whole grains, beans, lentils, with a variety of canned meats. Sunshine Kitty is stocked up too, but is also self sufficient if needed as he loves to hunt

The one good thing about being from a Mormon family is they taught prepper science, like bulking up on raw grains and soy and how to preserve them for decades, like a big chunk of dry ice in the grains when packing. A whole room. And we were taught how to grind our own wheat, make our own freshly baked bread, all the old ways of farming. That and basic cooking skills to maximize nutrition availability from grains and such. I'm relearning now, as I am recovering from being anemic a while back. Good nutrition is not likely with low fiber fast food...
