in reply to Kenny Chaffin • • •I'm not so sure I agree with the claim that sticking to pure standard time would also have such significant health "savings" vs. sticking with daylight saving time. That would all depend on how well any given locality's jurisdictional time zone matches the actual physical time range best suited for it (and possibly the distribution of population within that jurisdictional time zone, for those of us in places with wider variances).
Personally I would like to stick to pure standard time year round, but where I currently live, and given the current time zone boundaries, sticking to what we currently use as daylight saving time would better match the true physical time range here.
