Thin-sliced: Colbert opened the show by sharing how Fascist CBS (Columbia Bullsh*t System) had notified him that a show segment would be redacted - i.e, canceled, like him. And he was not to even mention it, much less speak about it. So he did. And he promised that the segment, CBS like it or not, would be aired anyway, via Colbert's YouTube channel. And it was.
