They, & pepsico, their owner, refused to join a program to pay farm workers $0.01/pound more for the tomatoes they harvest.

So, there is a good reason to avoid them, if you have an alternative.
Sorry to say. :-(

Pretty sure all of these corporations are just as evil.
in reply to Neil E. Hodges

They may be, but, at least in the US, some are part of an agreement that pays workers a bit better.

💥 Israel is on fire, and shelters have become a “trap”! 💣🔥
Israelis are now chanting: “The shelters smell terrible—we can’t find water or food anymore.”
Those who planned to bring others down have fallen into the pit themselves! Israel today is not only living in fear of rockets, but also in a state of “total chaos” that has driven tens of thousands into the streets—not for politics, but because they “can’t find anything to eat”!

First: “The shelters stink” 😷:
Israeli activist Yaakov Daniel: Thousands of Israelis are in the streets calling for an end to the war with Iran, chanting that the #shelters smell extremely bad and that they can no longer find water or food. Israel is living in a state of total chaos.

Imagine the so-called “invincible army” forcing its people into shelters that have been abandoned and rusting for years. Protesters in Tel Aviv shouted today at the top of their lungs: “The shelters stink!”
It’s no longer just about fear—it’s about filth, pollution, and overcrowding. People feel these shelters have turned into prisons rather than places of safety.

Second: Hunger strikes… where’s the food and water? 🍞💧
Israel, which once boasted of technology and prosperity, now has residents chanting: “We can’t find water or a bite to eat.”
• Supermarkets are empty.
• Supply chains have been completely disrupted.
• People are fighting each other over a bottle of water.
The situation has reached a level of chaos where the “home front” is collapsing even before any major war fully begins.

Third: The magic backfired… Iran is steady, Tel Aviv is shaken 🇮🇷🔄
Netanyahu and his government had planned to pressure Iran in hopes that the Iranian people would rise against their system—but the plan backfired completely.
• What happened? The Iranian population remained cohesive, while the “mass protests” took place among Israelis themselves.
• The demands are clear: “Stop the war with Iran immediately.” People there have realized that confronting major powers comes at a high cost, and Netanyahu’s vision of Iran’s collapse has turned into turmoil inside his own country.

Fourth: “Israel is drowning in shallow water” 😂✌️
The current scene in Israel is pure chaos:
• A government unable to control the streets.
• A military anxious about what comes next.
• A population that can’t tolerate the stench of shelters or the taste of hunger.

Conclusion:
Those who wanted to demolish their neighbor’s house ended up having their own collapse on their heads. Israel today is going through some of its darkest days—and the irony is, they brought it upon themselves through their government’s “miscalculations.” 📉

I have multiple friends who would shank anyone who said this. That one has some pretty diverse opinions.
And wow are there some penny dreadfuls out there that absolutely obliterate it as regards being terrible. I recently read one called (I believe) "I was a pirate doctor" from about 1948 that had more badness in one paragraph than twilight ever managed in a whole chapter.

in reply to Neil E. Hodges

And then there are the bombs & other ammunition, the troops pay (and in future either 1. The mental health support to help them return to the world or, 2. The police & ambulance, etc. necessary to recuperate from their destruction.

About one US war vet kills him/her self every 2 minutes, as I recall it.

Electric vehicles are most certainly an improvement in terms of environmental impact compared to internal combustion vehicles, but all of these vehicles still release tire, brake pad, and pavement particulates that have negative environmental impacts. :/
in reply to Neil E. Hodges

Not to mention that everyone in these vehicles' vicinity is inhaling all of these particulates.

I mean, right idea but I'd like something that doesn't cost twice as much as a house does in this city.

The fact that these morons are still fucking the world up both domestically and internationally shows how much of a failure our system of governance is. :/ #USpol #America

"Checks and balances" was propaganda bullshit all along. >:(

This regime trying to pull the usual authoritarian propaganda bullshit when the Internet never forgets is rich. :P

After The United States has carried out 47 boat strikes in Latin America and killed at least 163 sailors, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio now sits on Fox News talking about Iran violating international laws for marine traffic.

Rich.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of Bangkok’s streets, the giant sun seems to embrace the majestic Buddha statue of Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen, radiating a brilliant glow. The golden-orange light bathes the city, creating a striking contrast between sacred tranquility and the frantic urban life below. The congested traffic, interwoven signs, and tangled wires reflect daily life, while the Buddha statue offers a sense of peace, a spiritual anchor amidst the constant movement of humanity. Stacked images of the sun and the Buddha statue, taken at 800mm focal length using a 400-800mm lens and a Sony A7 Mark V body.
