Stopped by the Elephant Super Car Wash to see a construction crew tearing it down. Right before I left, the remaining structure collapsed.

"New Foothills Trail Extension/Infill"
For many years, the Foothills Trail was divided into two sections: the lower section that most locals knew about, and the "Missing Link" as I came to call it. The latter started a bit east of South Prairie, then wound its way up to 268th Avenue-Court East across four bridges.
Pierce County condemned the right of way between the two sections a little while ago, and recently completed the trail in said right of way. This section is shown here.
