I miss the nostalgia of simpler times of staying on the phone until one of us falls asleep, but wouldn’t give up the power of staying connected to people now
I am sitting next to a beige "princess slimline" phone that the previous own left behind 36 years ago.
My time in IT taught me, you must have a backup that is in no way related to your primary. Landlines are fairly inexpensive, and a standard corded landline phone will work in a power failure.
