leaving someone no recourse is a great way to stop existing as a government
most successful ones eventually realize you need a responsive outlet for grievances

@tk mhm. there will be outlets one way or another.
it's up to the government to decide if they want to have a say in how that happens or if they de facto abdicate and it just happens to them.
like the whole thing with the WH press corps. MAGA doesn't get soft power. the dog caught the mail truck and had no idea what to do with it.
